Crash on Stake and Rainbet lives or dies by one setting: your auto-cashout. Set it manually and you’ll tilt-chase a rising multiplier and bust; set it on auto and the game runs the way your strategy intended. Here’s how to pick an auto-cashout target and the bet behavior around it.
Why auto-cashout beats cashing out by hand
Manual cashout sounds skillful, but in practice it’s where discipline goes to die — you freeze, the multiplier climbs, greed says “a little more,” and it busts. Auto-cashout removes the emotion entirely: you pre-commit to a target and the game pulls you out every time, win or lose. For any structured Crash play, turn it on. It’s the same principle as the auto-bet settings that keep you out of your own way.
Pick a target that matches your goal
There’s no “best” multiplier — there’s the one that fits your strategy. The trade-off is fixed: lower target = higher hit rate, smaller wins; higher target = rare wins, bigger payouts.
- 1.25x – 1.5x (steady grind) — wins very often, small profit each time, pairs with a controlled recovery ladder. This is the 1.25x Recovery sheet.
- 2x – 3x (balanced) — roughly coin-flip to one-in-three, moderate swings
- 10x+ (hunting) — long dry spells, occasional big hit, only with tiny fixed shots — the 100x Hunter approach
Decide which game you’re playing before you start. Switching targets mid-session because you’re down is exactly how bankrolls die.
The bet-size setting that actually matters
Your auto-cashout target sets the payout; your bet size and on-loss behavior set whether you survive. A low target like 1.25x only works with a capped recovery ladder — increasing the bet slightly after a loss but with a hard ceiling, never an uncapped Martingale double (which detonates, as we cover here). High targets need flat, tiny bets and zero chasing. The full comparison is in our Crash strategy guide.

For entertainment only. No auto-cashout setting predicts the bust point or beats the house edge — Crash outcomes are random and you can lose your entire bankroll. 18+ / 21+ where applicable. Gamble responsibly.
