Dice is the most-played game on Stake and Rainbet for one reason: it’s simple, fast, and fully automatable. That also makes it the best game to attach a real bankroll and bet-sizing system to. This guide walks through how Dice auto-bet works and how to set it up so a losing streak doesn’t end your session early.
How Dice auto-bet works
Every Dice bet comes down to three settings:
- Base bet — how much you wager on each roll
- Win chance / multiplier — your odds per roll and the payout if you hit
- On win / on loss — how the auto-bet adjusts your next bet after each result
The auto-bet panel on Stake and Rainbet lets you set all of this and run it hands-free. The danger is that most players leave “on loss: increase by 100%” (a pure martingale) and let it ride — which is how balances vanish.
Why bet sizing matters more than win chance
Your win chance only sets variance. Your bet size relative to your bankroll sets survival. A good rule of thumb is to keep your base bet to roughly 0.5–1% of your balance, so you can absorb the normal losing streaks that random games always produce. Bet 10% per roll and a perfectly ordinary cold run busts you; bet 1% and the same run is just a dip.
Setting a session plan
Before you start, decide three numbers and stick to them:
- Stop-loss — the most you’ll lose before quitting (e.g. 20% of your bankroll)
- Take-profit — the gain that makes you walk away (e.g. +20%)
- Max bet — a ceiling no single bet can exceed, no matter the recovery logic
These three rules do more to protect a Dice bankroll than any clever multiplier pattern.
Recovery without the spiral
The point of a recovery system isn’t to “win it all back” in one bet — it’s to step bet sizes up gently after losses and reset on a win, while never crossing your max-bet ceiling. That keeps the math survivable across the streaks that will happen, instead of betting your whole balance to chase one number.
Skip the trial-and-error.
